March 2025: In accordance with section 78 of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and Care of Churches Measure 2018 (“the Measure”) and Rule 3.4 of the Faculty Jurisdiction Rules 2015 (“the Rules”), the Chancellor, having sought the advice of the Diocesan Advisory Committee has made an Additional Matters Order in respect of trial pits. An Additional Matters Order 2025 – Disposal of Church Contents
March 2025: In accordance with section 78 of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and Care of Churches Measure 2018 (“the Measure”) and Rule 3.4 of the Faculty Jurisdiction Rules 2015 (“the Rules”), the Chancellor, having sought the advice of the Diocesan Advisory Committee has made an Additional Matters Order in respect of disposal of church contents. Chancellor’s Direction Regarding Gravespace Reservations and Churchyard Maintenance Fees
June 2025: In accordance with Section 87 of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and Care of Churches Measure 2018 (“the Measure”) the Chancellor has issued a Direction regarding the payment of a contribution to the Parochial Church Council towards churchyard maintenance on the reservation of a gravespace.
